Good Contrivance Farm is a 501 (c)(3) educational non-profit, founded in 2016 by Ron Tanner, to promote the preservation and restoration of small, historic Maryland farms. The farm itself was established circa 1860 and later adopted its name, Good Contrivance, to announce that the farm thrived via ingenuity (“contrivance”) and good stewardship, not to mention good luck.
